GMO Labeling Bills have been introduced in the NY Assembly and NY Senate for the 2016 legislative session:

Contact your NYS Assemblymember and your NYS Senator and tell each of them you want them to support (and cosponsor) the GMO labeling bills.

  • Call your legislators – ask them to cosponsor and support the bill and vote yes to GMO labeling in NYS!


  • Meet with your legislators in-person – even better than calling!



  • Write a letter to the editor, an op-ed, or post a comment online in response to articles about our quest to get GMO labeling in NYS. Words have power!


  • Volunteer for GMO Free NY – support our events; do outreach; get every New Yorker you know who eats food to contact their legislators! Just fill out our Contact Us form and let us know how you'd like to get involved.

  • Help educate your family, friends, neighbors, and local businesses by handing out our fact sheet, 'The Case for GMO Labeling.' Download it below.
